A MAGICAL ESCAPADE FOR EASTER - April 4, 2011
The Easter Bunny is set to visit Margaret River again this year at the Rapids Landing Easter Escapade taking place at Rapids Landing park on Easter Saturday from 9.30am.
In its second year, the Easter Escapade is a fun community event filled with fun, laughter and magic! Rapids Landing park will come alive with activities including face-painting, kids’ craft and a guest appearance from Johnno B Biscuit who will perform his usual tricks.
However, the real magic is a visit from the Easter Bunny himself where he will lead the children into the enchanted grotto for the Easter Egg hunt.
Stuart Lester, Development Manager said a family-focused community event at Easter has become tradition for Lester Group, who hosted the Riverslea Easter egg hunt for five years before expanding the event into the Easter Escapade last year.
'We’ve got a great space at the Rapids Landing park and we are able to offer more activities and more enjoyment for the whole family’, said Mr Lester, ‘seeing the park come alive really provides us with a sense of great pride and satisfaction’.
Families are encouraged to bring their picnic rugs and enjoy the morning’s activities with a cuppa and Hot Cross bun. To add to the spirit, children are invited to come dressed in their favourite costume.
Rapids Landing park is located off Tonkin Boulevard in Rapids Landing, just south of Margaret River township.
